Why am i losing so little weight in belly fat, love handles and inner thighs if im doing everything right?
I’ve been working out a good amount at least three times a week but usually 4 or 5. Also I’ve been eating a lot healthier, drinking water, whole grains, fruits and vegetables and cutting back on the junk food. I’ve seen some improvement In my legs, chest and arms, but my belly fat, inner thoighs and love handles have had little or no change.
I am almost 15, Male and I’ve been dieting and exercising for a few months now, I wasn’t expecting a change all at once, but I feel there should have been more than this. Someone please help!
I haven’t seen anyone else mention it yet, but in addition to everything else you are doing, one of the best things to do is simply cut down on your portion size. Restaurants these days give you so much food that you start thinking that what you get is a proper portion size. In reality, depending on the resturant, what you get is usually 3-4 servings. It’s crazy, but America has been brainwashed by the food industry in this way and consequently we eat more than we should be eating. Cut back on your portion size and that should help some. Another tip: make sure you eat breakfast. It jumpstarts your metabolism for the day. If you don’t have breakfast, your body will start the day with a low baseline metabolic rate. Eating breakfast sets that rate higher so that it burns more calories during the day. Eat healthy snacks (in healthy portions) in between meals when you start to get hungry. Six hours between meals is a long time and without a snack, you will be “starving” by your next meal and be more likely to overeat. Eating a healthy snack in between meals will decrease the feeding frenzy at meal time. If nothing helps, you could talk to a nutritionist and they can go through your diet and exercise ritual and point out where you can make improvements.
