Horizon Coach

There is a saying that if your life is not extended, it is contracting. So if you some time in a rut, or are being narrow-minded, it is time to broaden your horizons and be open to all the wonderful possibilities in life. This is not a difficult task, in fact, that it's fun! It is not overwhelming either, it's really quite liberating. Here are five easy ways you expand your horizons:

1) Get outside! I just back from leading a retreat for women in the Virgin Islands. We met every morning in the outdoors, a gazebo overlooking the Caribbean Sea and surrounding islands. The wide view to heal itself, reassuring and informative. So step outside, climb on foot in an open field, a mountain, sitting walking in the garden or on the beach walk. Literally, expand your visual horizon. Feel the wind and sun on your face and allow nature to widen your perspective on life.

2) Do something new here, just for fun! It is a fun set of new movie "The Bucket List" about two sick old people to a list all the things she wanted to do before they die completely. Why wait until your sick! What is something you've always liked to do and not done for years? Insert Date with yourself and do it! Again, the childlike joy of doing something just because it makes you happy.

3) Be curious, learn something new! What is something you always wanted to know more? How would you answer the question, "I've always wondered …?" Set to something new in the world around you to discover. Is there a book you've always wanted to read or take a class that you want to? Which issue or problem do you would want your understanding to increase? Expand your mind!

4) Make space in your life! De-clutter your day of endless corridors. You are stopping your energy on things that do not really important to you. Find the space to breathe and time to all. The most powerful, most unknown universe is a in your own heart. Take time to listen Your inner voice.

5) Be of service! Give of yourself to others. Go into the shoes of another person, seeing the world through their eyes, and discovering gratitude Forgiveness and generosity. Open your heart will most definitely widen your perspective on life.

In the few months to see if you have a Objective in each of these five areas to achieve. Spring is coming, the days are longer, and it is the perfect time to step outside the box too adventurous and too witness all the new growth around you. Go for it! Embrace the possibilities and expand your horizons
